Broadcast lower thirds, simplified

Cue your straps.
Go live.

Strapline is a cue-based lower thirds tool for OBS. Build your rundown, advance your cues, and push broadcast-quality name straps to screen – no coding, no fuss, no subscription.

Works with OBS Studio macOS

How it works

Build your rundown.
Run the show.

Add your speakers, set their titles, and advance through cues in real time. Strapline pushes each lower third to OBS via a browser source – no switching, no manual edits mid-show.

01
Download and launch

Install Strapline on macOS. Open it before your show. Your cue list is ready to build.

02
Add a browser source in OBS

Point OBS to the local URL Strapline generates. That's your live lower third layer – persistent and always ready.

http://localhost:4000/overlay
03
Build your cue list and go

Add names and titles. Hit Next to bring each strap on screen. Hit Clear to take it off. That's the whole workflow.
